A Bright and Functional Home Surrounded by Nature
The Client
Maria Luisa is a lady living in Milan. She decided to purchase a house in the green area of Brianza, where she can peacefully enjoy relaxing days, appreciating both the scenic views and the privacy of the courtyard setting.
Needs
To make the most of the available space, creating a bright and elegant atmosphere with soft tones that inspire serenity and harmony.
Requested Solutions
Design a larger mezzanine
Create a wardrobe and laundry area to maximize functionality
Enhance the natural light coming through the large windows
Site Visit
The layout was defined, but all wall paneling needed removal and the systems required full renovation.
The mezzanine needed expansion and a safer staircase.
Custom-made furniture, colors, and woodwork were planned to optimize every inch of the available space.
During a joint meeting with the client and the construction company, the full design was presented, including quotes for both furnishings and structural work, along with a timeline for completion and delivery.
The Project
The entrance area was the main focus to define the living zone, coordinating the bookcase and TV wall with the relaxation area.
The design includes a sofa bed, an armchair, a round dining table with matching chairs, and a feature wall with wallpaper framed to highlight the high ceilings.
Design Proposals
The new staircase, covered in warm honey oak wood, enhances the entrance and provides easier access to the sleeping area.
The expanded mezzanine, now secured with a white metal structure, makes the bedroom area feel open and bright.
Light plays a fundamental role in shaping the spaces, while the presence of art gives the final elegant touch
